After our trip to Hedonism II, I started thinking about all of the things I wish I had known before I packed, stressed, and worried about leading up to our departure day. I also reached out to some of the great friends we met along the way, and they provided some insight into their best tips and tricks fo visiting the resort. Please enjoy!
Things I wish I knew before:
You are not required to dress up for the theme nights each night if you don’t want to.
The general store on the property has very affordable sexy wear and toys.
Dance even if you think you are not good at it!
Everyone feels self-conscious about their body; just own it and have a blast!

Jess from My Frisky Business has been to Hedonism II 13 times so far and provided these helpful tips:
“Pack fewer high heels and more wedges (comfy shoes); Don’t go with the expectation of getting laid; Find a hiding spot for your key so you don’t have to worry about losing it; Hedo is for everyone! Swingers, voyeurs, and nudists, but not everyone wants to have sex. RESPECT! Hedo is not a free-for-all. It is not OK to touch someone without permission. Don’t get wasted. Nobody likes the annoying drunk, and nobody wants to take care of someone else. Drink responsibility; you want to remember the memories you made at Hedo. Don’t miss the shows! The entertainment staff is amazing! Lastly, Go on the catamaran cruise! It is an additional charge but worth it!”
Justin, the male counterpart of My Frisky Business, provided that he has been to Hedonism II 14 times so far and immediately suggested,
“Put sunscreen on your private parts! Play games and contests; it is the best way to make friends. Don’t let your wingman down; always be there to give a hand.”
Isaac & Aimee have made one visit to Hedonism II but provided this insight into what they learned:
“Don’t wait too long to make friends. Don’t pack a lot of clothes. Your room key will stop working at some point of your trip. Eat at least one grilled cheese and bacon by the pool. The pizza is HOT! I don’t care how hungry you are, wait a minute.”
M & R were first-time visitors of the resort and provided this great insight for those wanting to visit Hedonism II:
“The nude police are real, and they don’t care if it’s your first day and you’ve never been naked like that before… you take those damn clothes off while you wait for a plate of jerk chicken! The Parmesan cheese shakers in the U.S. are salt shakers in Jamaica, and that much salt does NOT taste good on pizza, even when you are drunk! Stay longer than five days. Embrace the sexuality you have with your partner; it makes all the rest of it that much hotter! Learn the signs of disrespectful people, and don’t be afraid to speak up if you don’t like something. Book with a group. We didn’t even know that was a thing, and wefeel so lucky that Topless Travels just happened to be there that week. Make friends, don’t be scared, and have the time of your life!”
This couple goes on to provide:
“You don’t know what you don’t know – ask, engage and have fun. There are no judgments; we came into this world naked, embrace it! Bring something to wear to represent where you’re from – hat, bandana, shirt at dinner, or just shorts: wearing your Texas shorts, Kansas City Chiefs hat and an STL Cardinals hat is a hell of a conversation starter. Enjoy the offerings, i.e., kayaks, Sobies, and catamaran; they are there to be used, and it was fun. Participate in theme nights; you’re going to a new place, and embrace the atmosphere. And finally, there is a great gym there for you to use.”
Lisa has visited the resort 5 times and explains that she suggests that you:
“Be yourself. Putting on an act just so people might think your cool is exhausting and not sustainable. If someone doesn’t like you, oh well.”
Chelsea from Topless Travel has been to the resort 4 times and stated:
“Pace yourself and don’t overdo it the first day. Drink plenty of water. Fetish night has the best show! Definitely hit up the nude pool after dark! You never know what’s going down!”
I hope these tips and tricks help you get the most out of your adventure when visiting Hedonism II. This is your vacation, you make it as comfortable for you and your partner, and I want you to have the time of your life!
